Reeny Sondhi is a strategic senior technology and security executive, speaker, and thought leader who drives security transformations at scale for start-ups to Fortune 500 technology leaders including Autodesk and EMC/Dell. Currently, Reeny leads as Autodesk’s Chief Security Officer, overseeing all security related strategy and decisions enterprise-wide for this $57B+ market cap leader. Reeny also sits on the Board of Directors for Rapid7, a security software company. In this role she helps provide oversight and governance to this growth company's operations. Previous to her tenure at Autodesk, Reeny built and led security and risk management practices at EMC (NYSE: EMC), encompassing 15,000 engineers and all EMC external products. Across her roles, she developed both security products as well as security and risk management best practices. Reeny has been a founding member of two critical security industry bodies – BSIMM (Building Security Maturity Model) and SAFECode. She is an award-winning thought leader, recognized by the San Francisco Business Times’s Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business. She was also featured in the Women Know Cyber: 100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime book and by Girl Geek X as 16 Female Infosec & Cybersecurity Executives To Watch. Reeny is not only known as a security leader but also as a coach and mentor to emerging leaders, being the executive sponsor of the Emerging Leaders Program at Autodesk and mentoring at AWiL – Autodesk Women in Leadership Program.
